WHAT ABOUT HIM

He has this aura of arrogance in him. He has this pouty lips that suggests sensuality. His pointed nose dictates authority. The sleepy almond eyes covered with thick lashes hid his mysteriousness.
At first glance, I found him handsome. Scott James Roxas was tall, lean, and has broad shoulders. He could be an object of your fantasy.
The man who could have made dozens of women cry have had made his way to the MassCom hall of fame when he became the editor-in-chief of the college publication, the Mediator and when he became Mr. Hinampang ’06.
Scott is a man of ambition. Instead of settling here in Iloilo, he took the risk of being rejected – or accepted in the Philippine Daily Inquirer as a part of his On the Job Training (OJT) program. He also got accepted at Manila Standard Today.
“I decided to take my OJT at Manila because I wasn’t going for settle in Iloilo.” Said Scott.
It was an unforgettable experience for him having had his training experience there.
“My first beat was to make police stories.” That experience made Scott realize that the life of a journalist wasn’t a bed of roses. Also, it was awesome to have had an edge over his classmates because he was brushing shoulders with Condrado de Quiros and many other popular opinion writers.
“Write to express and not to Impress was the greatest value instilled to him during his experience.”
